What do I need to consider with regard to social insurance when traveling abroad?

The social insurance module helps your employees and your company when traveling abroad to be compliant with the legal regulations of the country of origin and destination.
How does the Travel Compliance Monitor help?

Based on the data from SAP HCM, the respective travel management and the relevant legal regulations for the relevant countries, the Travel Compliance Monitor monitors the international travel of your employees. The Social Security module helps your employees and your company when traveling abroad to be compliant with the legal regulations of the country of origin and the destination country. It identifies employees for whom an A1 certificate or another form of social security certificate is required. If an A1 certificate is required, TCM transfers the necessary data to SAP (infotype 700).

In addition, the Social Insurance module checks whether employees abroad are subject to social insurance.
